Delete your Habits for Health account
Habits for Health is provided by Wellbeing People Ltd. You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data we hold about you at any time, free of charge. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account
There are two ways:
What is deleted
When your account is deleted we remove your account and identity data (your name, display name, email address, login credentials and push notification token) within 30 days, and we remove all personal identifiers from your activity and engagement data (your streaks, points, medals, quiz answers and challenge history).
What is kept, and for how long
Once your activity data has been stripped of anything that could identify you, we keep it only in an irreversibly anonymised, aggregated form for product analytics and client reporting, with no fixed end date. Because it can no longer be linked to you, it is no longer personal data.
A few other items have their own retention periods: any support messages you have sent us are kept for up to 24 months, usage data in Google Firebase Analytics is retained for up to 14 months, and personal data is purged from our backups within the backup rotation cycle, up to 35 days. We may also keep limited records where the law requires it.
If you joined through an employer or organisation, deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems but does not change the anonymised, aggregated figures already included in past reports.
